Nigel
Nigel Edwards Trethewey was the epitome of happy go lucky, laid back, loving and kind. He was very patient and tolerant and he made children laugh and smile. He will hold a special place in my heart forever.

My heart is broken but I am so grateful for the time we had with our giant, lovable pup. I used to be scared of large dogs but Nigel changed that. He tipped the scales at about 105lbs and every ounce was goodness. Coming through the front door after work and not having him greet me with Freebee is tough. I miss our daily hugs. I’m not much for “rainbow bridges” but I do take comfort knowing he had the best life possible. Thank you Nigel for making me a better person and for bringing so much joy to our lives. Love you baby boy.

I know you are both dealing with the heartbreaking loss of Nigel. He warmed the hearts of so many and will be sorely missed. Because he was so special, the stories of his various entertaining feats will live on and will always be there to cheer us, as he did in life.
Much love to you both, Mum.
I loved Nigel and thought about him a lot. He had a special dog personality that one could not forget. Yes, he was a large dog, but very gentle and seemed to appreciate any interest one would give him. He certainly was special and when he looked at you with his beautiful eyes – all your problems seemed smaller. Colin and Cyndi could not have been kinder to him and he was very lucky to be “their” dog.
It is so hard to have our best friend animals leave our world so soon! Nigel was a beauty and he will be sorely missed! My love to Colin, Cyndi and Freebie!
