Zoe

My husband and I adopted Zoe when I was 7 month’s pregnant with our 1st child. We adopted her from the Humane Society in May of 2008. Zoe’s story leading up to us is she was surrendered to the humane society, adopted and surrendered again. We were her third family and I made sure it stayed that way. I was experiencing some first time mommy anxiety and wanted a companion while my husband was at work. She definitely became my emotional support companion. There was a moment when we first got her that my husband wanted to return her because she was chewing on our shoes and chewed through the wiring for the baby monitor. I explained to my husband that Zoe needs a period of adjustment and if anyone was going he was. Zoe was 4 years old when we got her. She was 20 years old when we had to say good-bye. I know she is in a much better place but I wanted her to live forever and I miss her terribly! Until we meet again! Love your hooman mommy! 🤗😘🌈
