I lost my best friend and companion to old age. I was blessed to have him for so many years as he had many health issues but always managed to have a smile on his face. He was such a good boy and had an amazing personality that was infectious to see. I am at peace with my decision as his quality of life declined to where he was having difficulty standing or walking and he was a large boy. The bewildered look on his face trying to understand what was happening and why he could no longer do things he use too took their toll on me.
Rest in peace my beautiful boy and know that your mom will never forget you and can’t wait to see you again. Meet me at the pretty bridge.
